A few more pictures of the BIG snow! Jackson and I ventured outside yesterday when Josh was "digging the car out". Jackson wasn't impressed with all white stuff. Hopefully my bro Kenny makes it home sometime today....he's had quite the experiences.....this morning when I was on the phone with him someone rear ended him. 
Can you see a little black car? We officially had 27" of snow....a record for the city.

Well, well, as January slowly plods along I am trying to be optimistic with the thought that spring is just around the corner....as my husband would say. He says that even when winter has just started.
My week has consisted of a very sick child.....I'm sure you other mom's can relate with me on this. It's very emotionally wearing. The little person needs you at all times and just when you are drifting off to sleep the little person has a coughing fit and you jerk awake. On the bright side, bad colds only last about two weeks.....I think I will take him to the doctor today. Josh and I both have sore throats also so if you think about our little fam pray that health and sanity will be restored soon.
Other things that have happened in recent weeks:
I joined a music class at our church on Tuesday evenings. Hopefully I can learn to enjoy singing more and maybe even learn to play something (my husband has given me a few voice and guitar lessons). I am not sure what happened to those skills that I thought I had once learned. Sometimes I feel hopeless when I think about trying to catch up to my very talented husband, Joshua Good. 
Do you know the first time I met him (officially) I (and a bunch of other people) went to the college where he attended and watched him perform in two different opera's. I was quite impressed. All in all my husband is the best singer I know!!!
Last Sunday eve we had a fun time of games and pizza with my brother and his fellow choice bookers and the Pollard girls....Balderdash brings the giggles out in grown men....or should I say boys. Do you all know what Haboob means?
Josh and I went with his Christian club to see "Chronicles of Narnia"....great movie! We all went to McDonalds after the movie. twas fun.
Josh turned 29 on the 12th. Happy B-day to my dear husband....you are the best....and like baileyandme says.....I get to kiss him whenever I want to.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about marriage and me as a wife and mother. I am reading "Created To Be His Help Meet" by Debi Pearl. I am about half way through the book but my mind is swimming with so many thoughts and ideas that I think maybe I will put it away and finish it some other time. I realize that with any "help" book you have to sift and sort and let the Holy Spirit guide your thoughts, but she does have some really good stufff to ponder. Here are a few things I have learned;

Only 3 more days until Christmas!!! I can't wait.....our little family had our Christmas on Monday night and I got the best gift. My husband got me a very nice 5.0 mp digital camera! I am having lots of fun taking pictures of my kid...you never waste any film. =) We are leaving early tomorrow morning for good ole Indiana to be with my fam for a week. I love going back there except for the loooooong drive....Jackson isn't so fond of it either. He has a bad cold and ear infection right now so hopefully he starts to feel better. Since my last post, which was a long time ago, my brother Kenny moved here. We love to have him around.

I'm finally back after a couple of weeks off.....actually I don't have access to the computer alot anymore since Josh takes it to school everyday. The birthday party with Jennifer and Dale was fun and Jackson loved the extra attention, of course. We went to Central Park and went row boating...absolutely beautiful. In the evening we went to a little Thai restaurant close by here, Dale thought it was pretty authentic.
Other than that... I am looking forward to the holidays....lots of trips, fun, family, gifts-i love to get and buy gifts!!!!! I am so excited.
Since it's almost Thanksgiving....
I am thankful for: Jesus, hope, peace, joy, my dear husband Josh, my chubby boy Jackson, my family and my in-law family, our bigger apartment, health, pampers, my home-maker position...(i love not going to "work"), our church, etc. my boy woke up...gotta go.
