How did we get such a sweet one? You have brought so much laughter into our home and made it so much sweeter. We love you so much.
Daddy and Mommy
I can't believe my son is almost 2 yrs. old! He is talking alot.....the other morning i went to get him out of his crib
and he said "Good Morning!" SO CUTE!!!
Jackson adores his Daddy!
Jackson has a thing with his ears right now.....I even took him to the doctor to see if he has an ear infection....everything is clear.
Jackson and his good lookin daddy!
Uncle Kenny with all his nieces and nephew......they all love him.
Sorry I haven't updated lately.....we finally got a new computer.
Have a great week-end.
Something funny (and a little scary) happened to me tonight.....I am trying to help out the starving Choice Bookers (my brother claims he's on his last belt notch) by cooking a little for them.....anyway I thought I would make meatloaf for them so I mixed it up and had the oven all preheated and proceeded to put the meatloaf in the oven (or so I thought)....an hour and a half later I went to get the meatloaf out of the oven and surprise surprise it wasn't there...I took a second look (like I thought it was going to reappear) .....still no meat loaf....I proceeded to open the refrigerator door and tada....it was sitting ever so nicely on the lower shelf.....what am I going to be like in 20 years. KFC saved the day.
Life has been giving us some curve balls lately.....the trusty (sometimes un trusty neon) is now sitting in a junkyard somewhere in the Bronx....I never even got to say good-bye....I am a very sentimental person (for real). At least my husband and the starving Choice Bookers are still alive to tell us about that Yankees game. One blessing.....we now are the proud owners of a minivan.....I love it.
Josh, Jackson and I are all trying to get over some kind of a summer cold....most miserable. It seems we are on the mend......
I will try to post some pictures in the near future....my dear husband worked on the computer a couple of months ago and now I can't seem to find my pictures.
It's all about Jesus!

This post is dedicated to my husband.....Joshua B. Good. Thank you for your unending supply of love for me and for providing so wonderfully for Jackson and I. You are a good man and I am so thankful for you. As I look back on the last five years I remember lots of good times and just a "few" hard times. =) I am so grateful that you are dedicated to our relationship. I hope that God gives us many more years together! Two more things, I think that you are the best Daddy to our son and you are the #1 teacher at James Madison High School. Happy 5th Anniversary.....such a wonderful day it was 5 years ago!
Today I had to renew my drivers license.....quite an experience! Whatever job you have to complete in NYC is always ten times more difficult and takes about twice as long as it would anywhere else in this country. You have to have all kinds of ID....a passport is the ticket....if you have a passport you can do anything. Anyway, I successfully changed my drivers license from IN to NY and renewed them because they expire in April. I felt kind of sad about giving up my good ole Indiana license but life goes on. Doesn't it always make you feel good whenever you complete a task that isn't really fun.
We are looking forward to a trip to Indiana over Josh's spring break.....hopefully the Neon holds up for us this time. I love to visit there and let Jackson breath in some fresh country air!
My parents had their 30th wedding anniversary yesterday. They have truly shown us what a Godly marriage is and provided a happy home for us kiddos. By God's grace I want to do the same for Jackson and whoever else comes along. =)
We had the Choice Bookers over for lunch on Sunday and my brother Kenny, take notice single girls, grilled some great burgers!!!! What a catch he would be! He's probably going to have my head for that one....oh well. He's great with his lil nephew Jackson also, Sunday Josh I sang on the worship team and so Kenny took care of him and Jackson fell asleep!
Well, I must finish up my Music class homework...only 2 more classes. I think I have learned a little bit. Thanks to my husband Josh who is my Tuesday eve babysitter...you are the best!
Happy Spring To All!

Well, I must tell you what a glorious week-end we had! Last Friday and Saturday we had 70 degree weather.....I can't wait until spring arrives. On Saturday we (the Good family) packed a little picnic lunch and headed up to Highland Park. We had a good time playing with Jackson, watching everyone else enjoy the sunshine, eating, biking, walking, and taking in some fresh air. Jackson loves when we leave....it doesn't matter where we go. Josh bought a new bicycle the other week and he also purchased a little seat for Jackson that hooks on the back, I think he would be content in there for hours....twas a nice break for me also.
A little update on Jackson...he can say some words now! Ball, Bobble, Daddy, MaMa, Hot, Hi.....I think that's all. Oh, when he gets hurt he says "Owie", I guess that means Ouch. He makes his parents laugh a lot! When we tell him to put on his sock he just lays the sock on his foot...he thinks that it is on. Little people are so cute and funny. Some days he does do some things that aren't cute and funny too....we won't go there.
I just typed up a the long story about our car and it was deleted again so I am just going to forget it....

Well folks, I'm back. A lot of things have happened since my last post....I'm not sure where to begin. I see my last post is dated Feb. 13 so I guess I will begin with our Valentines date on the 14th. We had piles of snow that day so we decided we didn't want to drive anywhere (if anybody has been to the city when we have a lot of snow you know that it's a big sloppy mess after about the 2nd day) so we just walked down the street to this nice little sit down restaurant with.....our little boy in tow! It was kind of a family date....I guess you could say. He doesn't like to be with anyone other than his Mom and Dad right now! I guess we should enjoy that while it lasts! He is such a sweet boy. Anyway, that was about the extent of our Valentines day!
Josh had off school the next week so we were heading down to VA to see the in-laws early Sat. morning (we left at 2 am).....when suddenly at 4 am the little black Neon decided to quit. It really wasn't the Neon's fault....we had heard a strange noise the week before and my dear husband told me to stop by the garage to have them check it out. Well....I thought that I didn't hear the noise anymore that day....so I didn't stop in. Well, that mistake was a very costly one. To make a long story short we (being the tight-wads that we are) don't have a <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href=
