  • well well, it has been a good week-end for the most part.  saturday morning my husband gave me some "time off" so i went to the flea market for a few hours and found some good bargains.....a wonderful sweet pineapple, skirt, shirt, and some more good fruit.  after i got home we went to rockaway beach for a couple of hours.  jackson seems to really like the outdoors so he was a good little boy for his parents.  he even got a little sun on his little white nose. =) 


    sunday was a good day at FOJMC, we had an ordination, a baby dedication and a carry-in meal.  they are the best carry-ins around!!!!  all kinds of good rice and chicken and curry.  in the eve we went up to highland park for awhile to see the sights and sounds of the city.  it's puerto rican day today so it's quite lively with the all the parties, flags and music.....it really is quite interesting to observe their enthusiasm!  some days i really like the city and other days i don't.  today was good!


    i hope everyone is going to be ok in the arizona group!  i have had food poisoning before and you feel like you could die!  our prayers are with you!

  • Yeah - I didn't know you just turned 28 - Happy Birthday to you too!! I turned 26 so I guess officially I am a little younger but at our age it all runs together!! (: And yes - i am definately a "quality time" person so dates are divine!!! I would love to see you next weekend - we are planning though to be in Ohio - please try again! I thnk we are coming to Times Square on the weekend of July 4th with 2 couples from church.
    How is Jen doing? I keep thinking I should stop in sometime - don't know when she is home or not. Does she have a job yet??

  • that makes me feel soo much better that you had food poisioning when you were preg too. i was SOO worried about the baby but everything seems to be fine now. i am feeling so much  better -- went to work today and all.

    hey thanks for your prayers! thank you so so much. i think only some one who has had it can really know how painful it really is...

    i would have looved going to the flea market with you. on some days i think i would really like living there...

  • ps. what poisoned you and how were your symptoms? just curious.

  • Derrell and I were telling someone from our church about the carry-ins in NY...boy do we miss them! We get up there pretty often but haven't been there 4 the carry-ins!.....I heard u might be coming up this weekend? thats too bad because we're going to be in NY now....we changed our minds! Lyn
