  • DIARY OF A "GOOD" GIRL

    Oh how I'm longing for spring....these long winter days are starting to take a toll on me and my mental state.  Jackson is begging to go to the beach, park and zoo.  I keep telling him that when it gets warm outside we will go but what does a two year old know about season changes.  He is keeping my life interesting....right now he is pretending that the overhead light in the living room is either a spider or a lion.  The other night I howled with laughter at him....he hurt his chin and  told me, "My beard hurts Mom".  This morning he locked himself in the bathroom with the light off (there are no windows either) and nearly had a panic attack until I called my lifesaver, Anne, downstairs to rescue him with a homemade hairpin. (All of mine were in the bathroom).  Let's see if he learns a lesson. 

    I am finally feeling "all better" now (excuse my childish terms) with this new baby....and time seems to be passing swiftly.  In about 4 weeks we get to find out if he or she is male or female (did that make sense?)....hard to believe I'm almost half way through.  My next big project on the list is to successfully potty train my 2 year old....I think it's high time.

    We've been having some good times the last couple of weekends.  Two weeks ago we were at a nice, cozy little cabin for the weekend....for pics see baileyandme and chuckschic.  Twas a good time with lots of laughter and competitive games.  My husband brought out some fairly strong feelings in me when we were playing Indiana....how does he always do that?  Last weekend Josh and a couple from our church  performed at a cute little coffee house in Brooklyn....was fun to watch and listen without running after our dear son.  God bless all the babysitters.

    Well, I'm trying to dodge flying airplanes as I type this so I'd better run before one hits the old faithful Dell and wrecks it.

  • I've got spring fever too!!  The days can seem so long when it's cold!!  Jackson sounds very busy!!  Wonder what his response will be to a new baby??  So glad you're feeling better!!  Praying the rest of your pregnancy will go good as well!!  Blessings, Julie

  • Hope you got some killer sunshine to take care of the blues. I started tanning cuz i was so desperate for some uv rays and a doctor actually recommended it to one of my depressed friends. So i took a chance that it would work wonders on me!! Never played Indiana before but i know all about husbands bringing out the competitive side...

  • Oh! That is so sad! We are leaving on Saterday morning, you should come sooner! Because it would be cool to see you and I sure Kenny will be very sad if he just misses seeing you like that. Yeah I really do like it here, its weird that is actially over, I have mixed feelings about it. You are a good writter, like in your post etc....   • Yes I remember you from NY. [: Loren thought you guys were an great couple. Congrats on your pregnancy- that's exciting you're having a girl. One child seems overwhelming for me right now- I can't even begin to think of having another one. But then they grow up and aww...time for another baby. Hope you're feeling good.
