I need some new ideas from you Mom’s out there…..what do you do with a two year old boy with alot of energy? Maybe you could also throw in a few tips on potty training.
Life is good here at the “Good” household, we are looking forward to the holidays. We are headed to VA to be with Josh’s family for Thanksgiving and then to IN for Christmas. Good times ahead.

What a cutie you have!! A little boy with lots of energy: sounds like my Jamison!! He has been a very energetic and passionate one!! I can easily get frustrated with him when I lose my focus!! I don’t know if this will help, but I have sometimes made a schedule for the day and allotted certain activities for certain time periods!! I don’t do it all the time, but when I do, it seems to help him know what to do with himself!! And about potty training: sorry I can’t help you with that one!! I am in the process of training Miss Shayla!! She actually tells me when she has to go and sometimes when she doesn’t!! We’ve had many trips to the potty the last couple of days!! It’s so hard to know what’s going to work, because it seems like they’re all different!! This will be the fourth time for me, and I still don’t have the answer!!
Also, thanks for your encouraging comment!! It’s nice to know I’m not the only one facing this!! It’s so easy to just let myself keep going down that road!! And it feels like such a HUGE sacrifice!!
Hope you have a wonderful time with your families over the holidays!! ttyl, Julie

what an adorable picture! he looks like such a sweetie
Hey your little guy is so cute….looks good and ornery too. I love that in little boys. On potty training I gave my little guy quarters instead of candy. There were certain toys that he really wanted to buy so we got him a little box to keep his money in and when he got enough we made a special trip into town to by ‘benny’ or whatever was on his wish list. He potty trained in 2 weeks flat and the quarters kept him dry….but I don’t expect things to go that smoothly with the second one. We were in Va for Thanksgiving too…tried to look you guys up but ya’ll had already left for home.
Hope ya’ll have a great Christmas. VA
Hey Tonia, wish I had some magic advice on potty training but those little boys are H-A-R-D!!! Glad for you that you get to go back home for Christmas! See ya, Jeanette
hey we finally got internet at home, so i’m having a hay-day! trust me, i know all about little boys w/energy! luke is a wild-man from the minute he’s up till the time he goes to bed! he’s 120% boy and she’s all girl! potty training – what a nightmare! we didn’t push it w/kate, and about a month ago she sorta decided on her own it was time – she was 2yr,4 mo. we made a huge deal whenever she’d go in the beginning, calling her grandmas, getting cool panties, etc. - so she got excited about it too! but they’re all different – kate ran around in just a t-shirt, no panties, nothing for about 3 days – and we didn’t go anywhere for a week. i’m not gonna even attempt luke for a very very long time
good luck
